I exist as I am, that is enough.

Spent about 20 minutes in the lighting studio today.

vibes

My aching feet are a victory sign of the day: wandering the streets of Capitol Hill, buying cheap clothes at Value Village, exploring the park, eating Salted Caramel ice cream at Molly Moon’s (to. die. for.) and getting just enough sun. Thanks Jenn, for this awesome photo and adventure!

folky

Spent the evening exploring the lovely Jenn’s dorm and neighborhood, and then met everyone at Folklife! It was such a nice night to walk through the crowds, my polaroid in tow. We listened to crazy cool music, ate elephant ears in the grass, and raced through booths before they closed. Overall, a great Friday!

the sea is just a wetter version of the sky

Using a lil’ Regina Spektor to describe my afternoon frolic at the beach! I didn’t want to bother with muddy shoes so instead… got mud on everything else (including my phone, which made a nice *plop* when hitting the muck). Lovely day, I can get used to this sun! I also explored the local airport for the first time too.

double take

Flipped my 50mm around to try and play with this ultra macro effect. I need to practice it (obviouslyyyy) but it’s an exciting option I forgot about.
